The Master thesis defense for the postgraduate student Chiyan Muatasim Jamil Al-Ibrahim was successfully held before a discussion committee on October 15, 2023. Several professors, English Language Department teachers, and some university and college members attended the event. Her Master's thesis was entitled “Waubgeshig Rice’s Legacy and Richard Wagamese’s Medicine Walk: Land and Culture as the Biosphere of the Indigenous Canadians” under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Chiad Abdulsitar Abdulakrim. After a lively discussion between the committee and the student, Chiyan Muatasim Jamil Al-Ibrahim was awarded a Master's degree in English Literature .
