On Thursday, March 10, 2022, the University of Zakho signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs – Duhok.

The aim of the memorandum is to promote the collaboration between the academic centers and general sectors for the purpose of improving the service within the general sector utilities. In addition, this cooperation aspires to connect with the local and international organizations in order to serve the society. Moreover, both sides are planning to conduct scientific conferences, panels and workshops to determine and supervise social problems. Thus, this leads to finding solutions as a means to properly serve the community and the people with special needs.
