On Sunday, December 12, 2020, the Presidency of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Zakho organized a field tour for students of the fourth stage to the Students Dormitories in order to learn about some of the mechanical devices and equipment and to identify their most important parts and provide them with the necessary information about those devices and equipment.

On the sidelines of the visit, Dr. Raed Mohamed Mahmoud, Eng. Abdel Wahid Jabbar Saleh, and Eng. Vovan Mohamed Abdel Rahman gave a lecture to the students in which they talked about a number of devices such as Hydrophone, Boiler, Chiller, firefighting systems, indicating how each device works, installing its location, etc.
