The Master thesis defense for the postgraduate student Mazheen Hashim Mohammad was successfully held before a discussion committee on November 16, 2023.
Several professors, English Language Department teachers, and some university and college members attended the event. Her  Master's thesis was entitled “Prosodic Transfer:The Influence of L1 to L2 Stress Assigned by Bahdini Learners of English” under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Aveen Mohammed Hasan from the University of Duhok. After a lively discussion between the committee and the student, Mazheen Hashim Mohmmad was awarded the Master's degree in English Language.
