On Tuesday, December 19, 2017, Dr. Yousif Goran, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research declared that Kurds and Turks have a long history of friendship and coexistence together hence they can enhance education and collaborate more in terms of culture exchange. This declaration was made during a meeting with Mr. Hakam Karachay, Turkish General Consul in Kurdistan.
