On August 23rd, 2017, a delegation from the University of Zakho headed by Dr. Ahmad H. Ibrahim, director of the International Relations Office, and both engineers Mr. Rasheed and Mr. Shahba visited UNDP and met with Mr. Shawqi Younis, the coordinator of the ICRRP. The aim of the visit was to discuss the upcoming projects for the coming year 2018.

On August 24th, Dr. Ahmad H. Ibrahim and Mr. Rasheed and Mr. Zuhair from the engineering unit visited Bozheen Organization and met Mr. Ahmad H. Habeeb, the director of the organization in Adamya city and also visited Institute of the Polytechnic. The aim of the visit was to discuss the cooperation between the University of Zakho and both Bozheen Organization and Institute of Polytechnic in terms of grants and teaching skills for the refugees and suburban areas and to motivate them in finding jobs and stopping illegal immigration.

On August 28th, Dr. Ahmad H. Ibrahim alongside Mr. Rasheed from the engineering unit visited UNFPA and met Miss Gertrude Mubiru, Head of the sub-office. The aim of the visit was to discuss the university activities epically empowering women, women education in the field of health and psychology and establishing a women centre in the University of Zakho. UNFPA showed their support to establish health programs in the University of Zakho especially for cancer and use of nutrition as a part of new projects in 2018. In the same day, the delegate also visited Heevie Organization and met Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud Barwari. In addition to this, on 29th of August, the International office also paid a visit to Chamishko camp for Refugees at Zakho city. The aim of the visit was to purpose new projects that can help to develop the resident of the camp.
