On Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Higher Education, a workshop entitled " Career Centers Training: Planning and Strategies " was held, and The Career Development Center of the University of Zakho was invited officially by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for this one day workshop. The aim of the workshop was to introduce CDC new staffs and members to new skills and some effective plans to improve their centers.

It is worth mentioning that the director of CDC-UOZ, Miss Edi Saeed delivered a presentation during the workshop to share CDC-UOZ experience, achievements and challenges with other CDC in Kurdistan universities.
After that Dr. Yusuf Goran, The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Dr. Jwan Jalal Sharif, the General Director of Delegates and Cultural Relations in the Ministry of High Education gave their speeches at the event. Also Ms. Delan Akrawi, Advisor KRG Deputy Prime Minister"s Office gave a biref talk about an internship program in Kurdistan, and Mr. Ammar from IREX, gave various information related to CDC and upcoming plans.
