On Sunday, December 18, 2016, a delegation of the University of Zakho participated in the cultural activity of the Mardin Artuklu University. The delegation included Prof.Dr. Abdul wahab Khaled Musa the Vice President for Student Affairs, and Mr.Ibrahim Mustafa Taher with 23 students from the department of the Turkish language.
At the beginning, the delegation visited the president of the Mardin Artuklu University and made a meeting with the president, and then the delegation visited the mayor (Governor) of the Mardin city and the received warmly by the Governor.
After that, according to the plans of the delegation, the students received lectures over four hours per day, and on the holidays and rest, they participated on some scientific trips and visited a number of Turkish cities included (Urfa, Madyati and Hasankifi) , as well as participating in a number of diverse activities, and they expressed that they get benefit from these kind of activities.
It is worth mentioning, the activity ended on Saturday, December 31, 2016, and Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Ozturk, head of the Institute of Languages, gave certificates of participation for the academic session to the students.
