On 1st till 3rd of November, 2016,Dr. Ahmad H. Ibrahim, Director of the International relations office and lecturer at the Department of Biology of UOZ, represented the University of Zakho in the International Conference World life Science Conference WLSC 2016.

More than 5000 participants joined the conference from many different universities. The conference was sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology. More than 400 speakers from around the world presented their research, and participants engaged in penal discussions, Mr. Rao Zihe, chairman of the organizing committee of WLSC 2016. In addition to 13 Nobel laureates prize scientists attended the events.

Dr. Ahmad presented his paper and participated in the discussion sessions. One of the interesting speeches was by Erwin Neher 1991 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine，From Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry Interestingly, among the Young Science Talents Compete,awarded Dr. Ahmad H. Ibrahim $1000 as a travel award. This trip was very useful for finding new development technology ideas and new international relations activates with China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), the China Union of Life Science Societies and organization Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), and many leaders of international academic organizations and hundreds of outstanding scientists in the field of life sciences around the world.
