By the advent of the International Mother Language Day, Zakho Center for Kurdish Studies conducted the Third Symposium in collaboration with the Department of Kurdish Language at the Faculty of Humanities on February 21, 2022.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Hoger T. Tawfiq, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, and Dr. Kamran Khelil, Head of Kurdish Language Department, sincerely welcomed the guests. Moreover, they delivered their speeches and discussed the greatness and sacredness of Kurdish Language.
Through an activity of the students of Kurdish Language Department entitled “Names of Government Agencies and Industrial Areas, A Linguistic Review” was discussed by Dr. Jirwan Saaed. Furthermore, a discussion emerged concerning a variety of topics and the significance of Kurdish Language.
