The University of Zakho participates in the online training course hold by the American Organization-IREX, online, with the support of the Public Relations Department of the United States Embassy in Iraq and in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Baghdad and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan region. The course is about Career Preparation Academy.

The course aims to provide the participating trainees with information about the program and the relevant roles and responsibilities necessary for success in the task of coordination. The sessions also provide answers to various questions in a way that gives the trainees the ability to participate in the management of the program in coordination with the rehabilitation and employment centers in universities.

The course is hold in a distinctive training method with sound, image, and symbolic drawings to ensure direct interaction and fruitful discussion during the sessions to the fullest.

It's worth mentioning that (21) students from various scientific departments participated in the course under the supervision of the Career Development Center (CDC). The course is scheduled to last for two full months.
