The European Union granted one million euros to the Kurdistan Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as support in various fields of education and training.

The support provided through the Erasmus Plus program includes training for employees of higher education institutions in the field of quality assurance and the Bologna Process system, in addition to promoting academic and student exchange and stimulating new forms of cooperation.
