The Master’s Viva of the Postgraduate Student Diyar Hussein Kurdi

The Master’s thesis defense of the postgraduate student Diyar Hussein Kurdi was successfully conducted before an examining committee on October 19, 2025. The event was attended by several professors, faculty members, and instructors from the Department of English Language.

His Master’s thesis entitled “An Investigation of Patriotism and Nationalism in Selected Kurdish and Irish Plays: A Comparative Study” was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Chiad Abdulsatar Abdulkarim. Following a thorough and engaging discussion between the committee and the candidate, Diyar Hussein Kurdi was awarded the Master’s degree in English Literature.
