The Department of English Language, College of Humanities - University of Zakho announces that Mr. Asaf Mohammed Salim Haji has successfully defended his PhD dissertation entitled “Investigating Project - Based Learning Strategies for Enhancing Student Motivation at the University Level” on Monday, October 22, 2026.

The dissertation was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Saeed A. Saeed and was evaluated by the appointed academic examination committee.

Following the successful defense and completion of the required academic procedures, Mr. Asaf Mohammed Salim Haji was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics.
