The Department of English Language, College of Humanities - University of Zakho announces that Ms. Shoresh Jelal Hussein has successfully defended her PhD dissertation entitled “The Effect of Oral and Written Corrective Feedback on EFL Students Writing Skills at the University Level” on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

The dissertation was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Idrees Ali Hasan and examined by the appointed academic committee.

Following the successful defense and completion of the required academic procedures, Ms. Shoresh Jelal Hussein has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics.
