The English Language Department held its annual “Explore English Day”, which bringing together students and faculty in an interactive academic event aimed at enhancing English language skills and promoting cultural exchange.

The event was held on April 26, 2026, and was organized under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Dr. Dilbreen A. Ali, and attended by the Vice President for Students Affairs, Dr. Ramadhan J. Mustafa, as well as the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Dr. Dildar H. Ahmed. The activity was supervised by lecturer Ms. Sipal B. Yousif and implemented through the efforts of third-stage students.

This initiative was carried out to achieve several educational and academic goals, including:

Developing Linguistic Skills: Providing an interactive environment for students to use the English language practically and naturally through educational games and creative tasks.

Cultural Exchange: Integrating foreign language learning with the introduction of national identity by displaying posters and cultural materials that showcase Kurdish history and authenticity.

Professional Development: This activity was the result of planning and teamwork by third-stage students, who were able to prepare posters and educational materials to a high standard.

The activity concluded with the attendance of a significant number of deans, teachers, employees, and students. The attendees praised the organizing committee and the students for the high level of preparation, which plays an active role in enriching the scientific environment and bringing students closer to the English language in a modern way.
