Under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Affairs, the University of Zakho officially commenced the 21st round of the English Language Placement Test on January 20, 2026. The test was attended by the President of the University of Zakho, Dr. Diyar A. Saeed, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Jassim M. Abdo, and the Director of the Language Center, Mr. Ivan H. Murad.

It is worth mentioning that the examination will continue for four days.
