On Sunday May 11, 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sherwan Mohammed Simo, Head of the Department of Petroleum and Mr. Yousif Mohammed, a third year student from the College of Engineering, Department of Petroleum conducted a scientific field trip to the Kawash Community Refinery.  

It is worth saying, this scientific trip improved the students' understanding of field work in oil refineries, and in a practical way the students became familiar with the equipment used to produce different products from crude oil.
