The Department of Geography Visits Khinnis Archaeological Site

On Sunday, December 8, 2024, under the supervision of Mr. Idris Salah, the Department of Geography at the College of Education organized a scientific field trip for fourth-year evening class students to the Khinnis archaeological site.

During this trip, the geography of the area and the factors behind the formation of the Khinnis Dam were discussed, and the effect of weather and climate on Khinnis Reliefs was investigated.

The trip focused on scientific inquiry and discussions on a key topic, where students asked various questions and presented their perspectives. These were addressed by the esteemed lecturer, Mr. Idris Salah.

At the end of the trip, the students expressed their joy and extended their gratitude to the department for organizing this beneficial field trip.
