On February 28, 2022, the University of Zakho received a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with the deans of the Colleges of Administration and Economics and the heads of their academic departments in order to discuss the state of education and establish clear strategies for advancing the higher education, following the issuance ministerial order of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Aram. M. Qadir concerning the review and development of all university programs in Kurdistan.

The delegation was warmly received by the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Dr. Range M. Nuri. The meeting was held in the presence of Dr. Twana N. Mohammed, the General Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs in the Ministry, along with the committee responsible for overseeing educational programs in universities.

Through such meetings, the Ministry aims to develop strategies for improving university education, implementing quality standards, enhancing academic performance, and proposing frameworks to promote academic excellence.
