Both sides stressed on how to create stronger ties with each other and agreed on future academic related collaborations in the areas of mutual interest such as joint research projects, staff and student training programs, student exchange and fellowship programs and workshops and especially laboratory facilities. One project is already approved by the centre which is going to host undergraduate students of University of Zakho/ College of Engineering for a summer training program in this year which will be fully funded and sponsored by DAAD.
