Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Diyar Abdul Karim Halo, President of the University of Zakho, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Delbrin Abdullah Ali, Dean of the College of Basic Education, the Department of Arabic Language, in cooperation with the Arabic Language Teaching Unit within the Language Center, is holding the second international scientific symposium entitled "Foundations of Modern Education in Humanities Departments According to International Quality Assurance Standards" in Khalil Al-Khayali Hall at 10:00 AM on April 27, 2025. The symposium will include the following topics:

First: On the Teaching of Arabic Language and Literature at Qatar University. By Associate Professor Dr. Ahmed Natouf from Qatar University, Qatar.

Second: Renewal in the University Curriculum for the Study of Arabic Literature. By poet and short story writer Professor Dr. Ahmed Jarallah from the Department of Arabic Language, College of Arts, University of Mosul.

Third: Standards for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers. By Professor Dr. Mahmoud Khalif from the Northern Technical University.

Fourth: Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research. Written by Assistant Professor Dr. Fadia Abdul Rahman, Department of Arabic Language, College of Basic Education, University of Zakho.

Fifth: The Polish System: Between Reality and Aspiration. By Assistant Professor Dr. Zervan Qasim Ahmed, Department of Arabic Language, College of Humanities, University of Zakho.
