On Thursday, December 14, 2017, at 11:30 am, the Career Development Center at the University of Zakho with of the support of the College of Engineering alumni Mr.Qaydar K. Othman welcomed Mr. Reving Mizory, the Educational Advisor of the US Consulate General in Erbil at the Hall of Khalil Khayali at the Faculty of Humanities to present an informational workshop about the US Educational Programs available to Iraqi students.
The advisor emphasized on the countless types of higher educational institutions offered in the USA along with focusing on a clear comprehension of the financial support available. The topics that were addressed by the advisor during the seminar were as stated below:

1-US Embassy-Iraq Exchange programs to Iraqi students and professors
2-The U.S. Graduate Education which includes:
*Types of higher education institutions in the US
*Ranking of the universities
3- Financial resources and cost of study
4- Admissions process
5- Overview of Education USA Advising services offered to Iraqi university students and faculty students
6- Job opportunities with the U.S. Mission Iraq (upon request).
