Women Empowerment and Leadership Program conducted by the Career Development Center (CDC) at the University of Garmian in collaboration with the International Friendship Organization was profitably concluded. More than (200) students of (16) governmental and non-governmental universities across Kurdistan participated in this program. Moreover, Dr. Dileen S. Zihdi from the University of Zakho took part in the program. Therewith, Career Development Center (CDC) at the University of Zakho congratulates all the participants and gratefully thanks Garmian University Professors for the precious opportunity they offered students of Zakho University.

The program was composed of a series of seminars about enhancing female role in society. In addition, the programs’ sessions were presented by several skillful and leader women in various fields and specializations in the Kurdistan Region for Kurdish female teenagers.

Notably, the program was conducted virtually and lasted four weeks from 03/02/2022 to 26/02/2022 respectively.
