Welcome to the Second Job Fair at the University of Zakho

In order to create an opportunity for the job seekers and job providers to meet in one place, the president of the University of Zakho Prof. Dr. Nadhim Suliman AbdulAziz is pleased to announce that the Career Development Center (CDC) at the University of Zakho in collaboration with Rwanga Foundation and Norwegian Refugee Council is convening this year’s biggest event “The Second Job Fair” at the University of Zakho. More than 90 international and local companies and organizations are expected to offer countless job opportunities for job seekers. 

Within the agenda of the event, a discussion panel will be assembled to talk about “Jobs and the responsibility of the youth, universities, and the private sector to create employment opportunities”. The main guest speakers of the panel are: 

- Dr. Ahmed Saffar (Former Iraqi Member of Parliament)

- Mr. Abdulsalam Madani (Executive Manager of Rwanga) 

- Dr. Shivan Ahmed (Vise President of Nawroz University) 

- Mr. Mazin Sirwan (Director of Digitalization & Communications at Korek) 

There will also be workshops on interview skills and CV writing which will be given by university teachers.
