In support of the continuity of scientific development and academic research, Dr. Jasim Mohammed Abdo chaired a meeting that included the Director of the Quality Assurance Directorate Dr. Kanaan R. Ahmed, the Director of the ICT Center Dr. Mohammed H., Mr. Mohammed Hassan, Ms. Dersim, and the heads and coordinators of departments at the University of Zakho.
The meeting emphasized the importance of conducting high-quality scientific research that strengthens the local and international standing of the University of Zakho. Discussions also covered quality assurance regulations, the new Learning Management System (LMS), and effective strategies for implementing it to ensure the quality management of the Bologna learning system.
During the meeting, participants discussed the technical and administrative requirements for adopting the system, the training needed for staff and students, and the expected benefits in improving teaching quality, student engagement, and overall academic performance.
Additionally, the meeting highlighted the necessity of centralizing information to ensure its accuracy, quality, and consistency across the university’s administrative and academic units.
