The College of Basic Education at the University of Zakho, in partnership with the University of Granada in Spain, is pleased to announce an upcoming four-day workshop focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder. The event will be held from August 2nd to 5th, 2026, at the University of Zakho.
Designed for families and trainers in Zakho, the workshop aims to provide valuable insights into current programs and effective strategies for supporting autistic children. Participants will engage in discussions and practical sessions led by experts from both the University of Zakho and the University of Granada in Spain, enhancing their ability to work with and support autistic children within the community.
This workshop is part of an ongoing international collaboration between the University of Zakho and the Granada in Spain. It follows the successful TeachersMOD project, which has contributed to enhancing the skills of teachers in colleges of basic education across Kurdistan and shaped the future of basic schools in the region.
