On Wednesday, December 6th, 2017, the Ministry of Culture and Youth held a two-day conference under the motto of "Culture and violence" at the Hall of Sa'ad Abdula in Erbil in the presence of Mr. Nechirvan Barzani, Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, and Mr. Khalid Doski, Minister of Culture and Youth, and many private and governmental sectors, and humanitarian organizations. During the conference, which consisted of several sessions, a group of researchers and academics contributed their research on the subject of the conference. The participants also expressed their views and opinions during the discussion.

It is worth mentioning that Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Wahab Kh. Mousa, Vice President of the University of Zakho for Student Affairs, was officially invited to attend the conference, which in turn shared his views on the relevant points.
