The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that the national ranking of the universities had a great impact on the scientific level of the universities.This announcement was made by Dr. Yousif Goran, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Wednesday 12th of July 2017, at the University of Salahadin. He pointed out that when the ranking project was implemented, scientific research activities increased (80%) while international scientific conferences increased (107%), national conferences (143%) and training courses (63%).
