On Wednesday, under the supervision of Dr. Yusuf Goran, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a formal meeting was held between the ministry staff and the deans of the Faculty of Agriculture of all universities of the Kurdistan Region.
After the meeting, Dr. Yusuf Goran, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that the Kurdistan region has a strong base in the agricultural sector, but so far has not been dealt with it appropriately and get benefit from it. For that purpose, the ministry decided to form a high Committee to follow up the programs and admission system of the students in the departments of the faculty of agriculture and strengthen relation with the Ministry of Agriculture to improve the sector of agricultural.
