On Monday 24th of April, 2017, in the presence of the Mr. Farhad Atroshi, The governor of the Duhok province, the secretariat of the Kurdistan Democratic Youth Union, the president of the Duhok Polytechnic University, and a number of talented youth and students. The Youth House in Duhok organized the second exhibition for youth talent, at the Duhok Polytechnic University.
The director of media of the Youth House said that "the exhibition contained more than 20 creative works, mostly engineering and computer designs". Under the supervision of Mr. Karwan Fahmi Sami, a lecturer in the Computer Science Department, and director of the ICT & Statistics Center at the University of Zakho, four students of the fourth stage from the department of the computer science, presented two academic projects.
It is worth mentioning that, the project of the "Kurdistan Health Centers", which was designed to manage medical centers and clinics through a Web, desktop, and mobile applications, was selected as the best project in the exhibition. It was presented by students Dawod Abdel-Salam Yasin and Qidar Abdul-Majid Mahmoud from the University of Zakho.
At the end, Mr. Farhad Atroshi, the Governor of the Dohuk province, awarded the project group members led by Mr.Karwan Fahmi Sami for the great project, and he promised to support the project for improving the health sector in Duhok Province.
