On Thursday 13th of April, 2017, at 10:00 am, in the presence of the Assist. Prof. Dr. Lazgin Abdi Jamil, President of the University of Zakho, Vice-Presidents of the University, deans of colleges and bodies, a number of professors and students. Under the patronage and support of the University of Zakho, an event was organised for the screening the film of the writer and director (Kaiy Bhar) in English at the Faculty of Science in the Chemistry Hall / University of Zakho.
After the presentation of the film, the writer opened a door of the interventions and there were many discussions held between the audience and the writer and the audience asks a number of questions about the idea and production of the film.
At the end of the event, one of the novels of the writer was signed (a letter from a Kurdish person) and his novel is the first Kurdish novel published in English in Britain.
