On Wednesday, February 15, 2017 Mr. Sarbast Lazgin, the Director of the eighth branch of the KDP with his staff visited the University of Zakho and were welcomed by the Assist. Pro. Dr. Lazgin Abdi Jameel, the president of the University of Zakho and staff from the university.
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Sarbast Lazgin, showed his happiness about the University of Zakho for their hard work and achievements it made during these few years, and became one of the best Universities of the Kurdistan and Iraq region. In addition, Mr. Sarbast Lazgin gave thanks to the University for their Help to the graduated students for the Higher Education.

In the end, the president of the University, talked about the victory of the Peshmerge forces of Kurdistan Region under the supervision of Masoud Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan region against the ISIS terrorists group, and showed the world that Kurdish people fight for their freedom.
