On Monday, the 21st of November, 2016, Dr. Yusuf Goran, minister of higher education and scientific research KRG, met Mr. Kingros, the American consul in Kurdistan region, in the ministry hall to discuss the ability to resist the phenomena of violent thinking. In addition, Dr. Goran announced that currently four ministries are working on some strategies concerning this phenomenon taking in consideration the successful experiments of the United States and some other countries toward this problem.

At the end, the visiting delegation thanked Dr. Goran and praised the achievements of this ministry especially in the international ranking of Kurdistan regions' universities through the economic crisis the region is facing. .
