The University of Zakho as the only university in Iraq and the Kurdistan region participated in a workshop entitled (Future Networks;Enabling 5G and Beyond).

Mr. Yousif G. Arshak-member at the Statistics and ICT Center represented the University in the workshop. In the second day of the workshop, he presented (Optimization Algorithms in Neural Networks: A review) in the presence of Ms. Maryam Shimshak from Berklee College and Mr. Mathew from IEEE.

It’s worth mentioning that this workshop was organised by IEEE Institute and Future Network. Many representatives of companies and institutions participated in the workshop e.g. Samsung, Varizon, Vodafon..etc). The workshop lasted for three days.
