The Career Employability and Development Center at the University of Zakho attended the first CEDC directors meeting on the 8th of April 2015 at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Erbil. The meeting was held in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister’s Adviser, Miss Delan Akraye, along with Miss Lori Mason, the project director of the International Research and Exchange Board (IREX), via Skype. One of the major points during the meeting was focusing on the importance of CEDC for students, alumni, faculties within the University, enterprises, and consequently the society. Each partner contributed at the meeting by providing a presentation about different issues related to the CEDC. Miss Edi S. Kachal, Director of the Career Employability and Development Center, participated in this meeting by presenting some valuable recommendations, suggestions, and even experience in aiming to direct the newly established centers to the professional and effective channel along with the Salahaddin University and the University of Duhok.
