On Monday, February 28, 2022, the Career Development Center CDC at the University of Zakho started the Basic Nursing Training Course jointly designed with Directorate of Zakho Health in the presence of Vice President for Students Affairs Dr. Karwan F. Sami, Director of Career Development Center Ms. Berivan M. Ahmed, and basic first aid training specialists.

This course provides opportunities to attain the knowledge and skills that are necessary to promote health, prevent disease, and deliver basic nursing care to individual patients across the lifespan. Additionally, the purpose of this course is to prepare students with theoretical foundations for advancing nursing practice.

Moreover, the participants will be awarded participation certificate according to an assessment for participants’ knowledge and comprehensive evaluation that will be conducted at the end of the course, besides their regular attendance.

Course Duration: 6 days (three days a week)
