On Tuesday, August 17, 2021, the  President of the University of Zakho, Prof. Dr. Nazim Suleiman Abdel Aziz, received two government delegations during their visit to the university.

The two visits were made by Mr. Mushir Muhammad Bashir, Mayor of Zakho District, Lieutenant-Colonel Nizar Suleiman, Colonel Rashid Muhammad, and Major General Assem Goran, Dean of the Military College in Zakho, in order to congratulate the University President on his new position, succeeding Prof. Dr. Lazgin A. Jamil.
