On  Monday, August 9, 2021, Prof. Dr. Nazem Jaksi assumed his duties as the new president of the University of Zakho succeeding Prof. Dr. Lazgin A. Jamil.

The inauguration of the new university president took place during the ceremonies that were held in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Aram M. Qadir.

It’s worth mentioning that Prof. Dr. Nazim Jaksi will begin his duties as the new president of the  University of Zakho as of today, complete the university’s scientific and educational journey and move forward in developing the university environment.
