Kurdish Novelist Bave Naze Signs Four New Books at the University of Zakho

On Monday, November 25, 2019, at 10:00 AM, the Kurdish writer and novelist Dr. Bave Naze signed four new books in the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Zakho in a special ceremony organized by Zakho Center for Kurdish Studies in cooperation with the Presidency of the Department of Kurdish Language.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the attendees stood a minute of silence in honor of the soul of martyrs of Kurdistan region. Then the Director of the Zakho Center, Dr. Hogir T. Tawfiq, said: “The University, in addition to its educational goal, seeks to organize and embrace this kind of activities that contribute effectively to spreading the culture of reading among the youth and to love them.

After that the Head of the Department of Kurdish language in the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. Kamran Ibrahim Khalil delivered a speech.

Then the writer and Dr. Bave Naze thanked the students and professors who described him in the most beautiful words until his eyes were full of tears, and expressed his happiness and gratitude to them and their words and their beautiful feelings.

It's worth mentioning that the celebration also witnessed the presentation of each novel by Mr.Diler Kamal and Shivan Qasim, citing paragraphs and texts of his novels and the suffering of the Kurdish people. At the end of the ceremony, the novelist signed the four publications that the students scrambled to acquire and take memorial photos with him.
