The Department of English Language Holds a Symposium at the University of Zakho

The Department of English Language in coordination with the Zakho Center for Kurdish Studies held their third symposium under the title "The Intertwining of Literature, Language and Culture in Language" on November 23, 2023.

The event was delivered in the presence of the Dean of the College of Humanities Asst. Prof. Dr. Fakhir H. Yousif, department lecturers, along with certain university staff at the college and the students of the English Language Department .

Noteworthy, the symposium consisted of two panels; the first panel was moderated by Mrs. Marwa I. Abdulghani, and the second panel by Asst. Prof. Dr. Amel A. Mahmoud.

Esteemed guests of the symposium were various professors from the universities of the Kurdistan Region, sharing their researches on several different topics reflecting the subject of the symposium.
