The Career Development Center of the University of Zakho wants to inform its graduates that the Gulf Keystone Petroleum is looking for some graduates. Gulf Keystone Petroleum is an independent oil and gas company and leading upstream operator in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

It announces GKPI's first graduate Engineering Apprenticeship Programme which will develop local graduate engineers through on-the-job learning, structured training with formal evaluation, and defined work experience under the mentorship of experienced industry Engineers.

This program will require hiring One Graduate Engineer in an apprenticeship role, working with the existing experience engineering team, in each of the following disciplines:

  1. Process Engineer/ B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering
  2. Mechanical Engineer/ B.Sc. In Mechanical Engineering
  3. Electrical and Instrument Engineer/ B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

Interested candidates for the Engineering Apprenticeship Programme, should apply in writing enclosing an updated CV, with a cover letter in support of the application, outlining why this type of program is appropriate, reasons for the chosen program, and perceived benefits to both student and the Company.

All applications will be reviewed, technical assessment and interviews will be arranged for a group of shortlisted candidates, and selection of the hiring will be made accordingly.
