Zakho Center for Kurdish Studies organized a symposium on Sinjar in collaboration with the Department of History. Noteworthy, the symposium was conducted in the presence of Dr. Hogir T. Tawfiq, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. Abdulsalam N. Abdullah, Director of Zakho Center for Kurdish Studies, and the academic staff and students of the faculty.

The Symposium consisted of two panels; the first panel was moderated by Dr. Farsat M. Ismail and the second panel was by Dr. Nizar A. Hasan.
