English Language Department at the University of Zakho organized a clean-up campaign on February 28, 2022. Teachers and students of the department took part in the campaign. The aim of this action was to raise the students’ awareness on the importance of a clean environment by involving them in the cleanliness of their study place and make them more responsible for garbage management.

The action involved removing waste from all the roads, parks and the green spaces around the university.
