On Thursday, December 5, 2019, in the presence of Mr. Qobad Talabani- Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Dr. Aram M. Qadir-Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the annual conference of Gender Studies Center was held in Suliamaniya in commemoration of the campaign of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

It's worth mentioning that Ms. Nazdar A. Brindar-Director of Gender Studies Center at the University of Zakho participated in the panels of the conference.
