On Monday, November 18, 2019, at 10:00 AM, Ms. Nazdar Arif-Director of Gender Studies Center at the University of Zakho conducted a seminar on "The Difference Between Sex and Gender" for students of the History Department. The seminar was held at the hall of Khalil Khayali-Faculty of Humanities.

In the seminar, she talked about the differences between the both terms and how the traditions and culture of a society view the genders in terms of their rights.
