On Monday, November 4, 2019, the Department of Kurdish Language at the University of Zakho organized a workshop on aspects of Kurdish language and the movement of modernism in the language for Dr. Sanya Jabar and Mr. Shivan Qasim. The workshop was held at the hall of Khalil Khayali in the presence of university students and faculty members.
