On Thursday, October 31, 2019, in the presence of Professor Dr. Hogir T. Tawfiq-Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Mr. Ivan Hassan-Director of the Training and Development Center, Mr. Hozan Gorgin-Head of the English Department at the Faculty of Humanities, Mr. Sabah Sulaiman-Head of the English Department at the College of Basic Education, and a number of lecturers and students, a competition on "English Language and Grammar" was organized between the student of the English Departments from the Faculty of Humanities and the College of Basic Education.

The competition was held under the supervision of Mr. Hassan Basil and Ms. Marwa Ihsan in which the students of the Faculty of Humanities won the competition and they were awarded.
