On Sunday, October 27, 2019, the Department of General Sciences at the College of Basic Education at the University of Zakho organized a scientific trip for students of the third stage under the supervision of Dr. Ramadan Haji Suleiman.

He talked to the students about the rock and stone layers, their components, types and the characteristics of the various rocks in the Zakho region. The students expressed their happiness for the trip and called for more activities of this kind that will gain valuable information and benefit them.
