The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Region decided to reduce the fees of evening study and Parallel system in all universities and institutes of the region by 45% for the academic year (2019-2020).
The decision came during a meeting of the ministry held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. The Minister of Higher Education said that the ministry agreed to reduce the fees for evening study and Parallel system for the new academic year because the ministry takes into account the bitter economic reality experienced by most segments of society, adding that the ministry seeks to improve the quality of education.
